In the Beginning...
The CO Black Roundtable called a meeting around the subject of political awareness in the Aurora-Denver community and Nicholas O. Walker was invited to present among a panel of others. The particular subject presented caused a reaction: "How can People of the African Diaspora Political Power without Economic Equity?" (Rev 2023) Refer to the Resource Library.
Formed in January 2019, our 1st meeting was scheduled and conducted at New Nations Church, Aurora, CO in Ward I. The gathering of @ 10 community members from Aurora and Denver met to determine the issue, and to begin a process of determining a potential solution to, Narrowing the Wealth Gap.

VetVest Group, LLC - A faith-based, veteran-influenced, and multi-ethnic collaboration of professionals recommending Applied Automated Construction Technology (AACT) to construction materials; conducting Asset-Based Community Development processes to engage stakeholders; and provide modular housing and business spaces, with optional furnishings, built “better, quicker, and cheaper” for governments and others focused on addressing this humanitarian issue.
2023 represents the fifth year of blood, sweat, joy and tears; Starts/restarts; Ups and downs; Sunshine and rain; Joy and pain!
There is a general confidence NOW that the course and direction is just right. Time is of Essence!

VetVets Group, LLC is developing capacity to support its real estate develop ment mission in AR, CO, & TX which supports community economic development.
It also led in creating New Horizons Community Development Corp (NHCDC) (IRS 501C(3) to support the access to capital side of community development & wealth building. Mission: Narrowing the Wealth Gap.
In this light and today, capacity is required in terms of management and capital: fund raising.

- Financial Literacy Program - a program is envisioned as a set of courseware designed for grades 7 to 12 and for young adults’ post grade12. This curriculum shall be culturally and ethically designed to encourage Narrowing the in our commUNITYs. Kick-off is expected 2023-2024.
- A Communications Tool: RALLY Y2K Bugler
